Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Liaison Nurse to fill a full-time role in Camberley. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of mental health and the practices within the NHS.
Your role will be to support the Psychiatric Liaison Service, which provides psychiatric assessment and treatment to patients. The team focus on improving the health outcomes of patients within the hospital with mental health needs.
This Hospital is a 24/7 service therefore this role is rota based, 07:00-19:00, 09:30-21:30 and 19:15-07:15.
The pay rate for this Band 6 Mental Health Liaison Nurse is £24.00 per hour (Umbrella), plus increments for nights and weekends, and is a 2-month contract due to start ASAP.
Requirements of this Band 6 Mental Health Liaison Nurse vacancy:
• All applications must be a registered mental health nurse or Social Worker with valid professional registration
• All applicants must have experience undertaking assessments and providing treatment to adults who have complex issues and lasting mental illnesses.
• Preferably have knowledge on SystmOne.
