Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role in the All Age Mental Health Team based in Wigan
Emergency and urgent assessments for Liaison psychiatry team throughout the acute hospital including A&E. Experience of urgent care (Liaison/home treatment/assessment team) required. Ability to work independently, will be supported to orientate to the team in the initial period. The team is covers the whole age range so experience with CAMHS/old age would be preferable however predominant need is an understanding of urgent/emergency mental health assessments/ safeguarding/ risk management.
The candidate must be willing to work nights shifts 7.30pm-8am , 7 shifts per fortnight (3 one week, 4 the other).
Flexibility could be given to length/number of daytime shifts but must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
The pay rate for this Band 6 Mental Health Nurse is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start as soon as possible.
Requirements of this Band 6 Mental Health Nurse vacancy:
  •  You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
  • You will be working with an emergency and urgent assessments for Liaison psychiatry team throughout the acute hospital
