Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full-time role in the access and assessment team in Barking, Essex. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills as a Community Psychiatric Nurse.
Your role will involve Assessment, Intervention, administration of medication, follow up appointments, problem solving, solution focussed, attending clinics, risk assessment and planning, monitoring of mental state, discussing problems and solutions within the team.
The team are looking for candidates who have good communication skills, good mental health assessment skills,  good risk assessment and monitoring RiO trained and well-practiced in use, previous community mental health  team work, good interpersonal skills and an over positive working attitude.
This role will be full time, working Monday to Friday, 09:00- 17:00, 4 days a week may be considered.
The pay rate for this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner is £25.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start in January 2021
Requirements of this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner vacancy:
  • You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
  • You must have experience as a CPN
  • You must have RiO experience
  • You must be able to manage your own wide caseload
