Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full-time role in Nottinghamshire. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Mental Health practices within the NHS.

In this NHS role, you will need to build trusting relationships by reassuring, listening and talking to patients. Throughout your role you will need to encourage patients to take part in therapeutic activities. You will have to give educated advice and arrange any support that you feel is necessary for the individual and continue to make sure the patient, relatives and careers are aware of treatment and further progression for the future.

This role is working on a full-time basis, 37.5 hours a week.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) for the duration of 12 weeks due to start asap.  

Requirements of this Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner vacancy:

  • All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin
  • Must have experience working in a mental health setting and in delivery support and care in a mental health team
  • Must work with a therapeutic approach
