Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Qualified Social Worker to fill a full-time role in the Community Mental Health Team in Hull. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of learning disabilities and the practices within the NHS.

The team require an experienced Social Worker with a professional registration with Social Work England.

This service is community-based and includes medical staff, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, healthcare assistants and support workers.

It would be an advantage if the workers have had previous experience of using Liquid Logic and/or Lorenzo information systems.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Qualified Social Worker is £23.00 per hour for days (Umbrella).

Requirements of this Band 6 Qualified Social Worker vacancy:
  • All applications must be Social Workers with a professional registration with Social Work England.
  • Previous experience of working with adults within a mental health setting and also to have a good knowledge and experience in using the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
  • Must have good assessment skills.
