Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in the Mental Health Assessment Team in St Helens. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills in crisis and assessments
 
In this NHS role, you will be working as part of the assessment team  who provide routine comprehensive assessments for referrals received to the team either via attend anywhere or face to face.
The team provide cover for the 24 hour crisis line and also provide assessment for urgent and emergency referrals received into the team They also support in Home Treatment Team if required
You be will request to input into daily team MDT’s and support in gatekeeping assessments for admission to hospital and facilitating 72 hour follow ups if required
 
This role will be working on a 7 day rota, 8am – 8pm
 
The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse £23.00 per hour weekdays, £27.00 per hour Saturdays and £32.00 per hour Sundays  (Umbrella) and is a 6 month position.
 
Requirements of this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:
  • You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
  • You must have experience as a CPN.
  • You must have crisis experience
  • You must be able to manage your own wide caseload.
