Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting forBand 6 RMN’s to fill a full-time role in the Mental Health Service based in Pennine Care Trust. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of working with Mental Health Services.
We are looking for Band 6 RMN’s to work for at least 3 months in Tameside Hospital working with the Mental Health Service
The pay rate for this Band 6 RMN’s role is up to £24 (umbrella rate) and is due to start as soon as possible.
ASAP start for 3 months minimum , 37.5 hours per week Days/Nights/Weekends
The above roles are based at Tameside General hospital on Saxon Suite and the hours are 37.5 per week
To manage caseloads effectively, making the best use of time and resources and ensure that any unresolved issues for clients and their relatives/carers are Identified and referred to the appropriate personnel.
To keep accurate and timely professional records of nursing care, ensuring confidentiality is maintained in live with Trust policy.
To participate in the assessment of students allocated to the Acute Mental Health Service and in conjunction with other disciplines ensuring their development needs are addressed.
In consultation with the Ward Manager, establish priorities in workload and organise the working day to make effective use of resources.
To deal with complaints from clients and relatives in accordance with Pennine Trust Complaints Procedure.
To participate in ward meetings and task groups as requested.
All staff members have a responsibility to protect service users, visitors and employees against the risk of acquiring health care associated infections by consistently observing Trust Infection Prevention and Control Policies and procedures and best practice guidance in order to maintain high standards of care.
