Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Senior CAMHs practitioner to fill a full-time role in the South Cumbria CAMHS, based in Barrow-in-Furness. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of working in the CAMHS service.

In this NHS role, your role will be to work across both CAMHS crisis and core CAMHS. Assessing and working with a caseload of children and young people 0 – 18yrs presenting rather routinely or in crisis with moderate to severe mental health difficulties as part of MDT.

This role will be working full time, over 7 days Monday – Sunday 09:00- 17:00.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Senior CAMHs practitioner is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), with increases for weekend working to £30.00 per hour (umbrella) and is to start as soon as possible.

Requirements of this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:

• You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.

• You must have experience as a CPN.

• You must have CAMHS experience

• You must be able to manage your own wide caseload.
