Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Senior Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full time, 37.5 hours per week role in Colchester, Essex. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of mental health practices.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Senior Community Psychiatric Nurse job is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 3 month contract, which is likely to be extended.

You will work as a member of the nursing team in providing high quality, evidence-based, holistic nursing care to patients in line with your NMC professional code of conduct and Trust policies. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate packages of care based upon individual service user needs, under the guidance of the Advanced Nurse Practitioner as per NICE guidance. You will also undertake and maintain service users' Self Directed Support assessments.

You must be able to evidence from your CV experience of care coordinator skills, Caseload management, Care Planning & risk assessments as well as having proven experience of working in a health, social care or community setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements of the Band 6 Senior Community Nurse role:

- You must be a Registered General Nurse with a current NMC Pin
- You must have experience within mental health
- You must have care coordinator skills, Caseload management, Care Planning & risk assessments.
