Maxxima's nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6/7 CAMHS Crisis Specialist Practitioner to fill a full-time role Harrow, North West London. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of CAMHS and the practices within the NHS.

Your role will be to meet the needs of our clients, who are under 18 and are present at the A&E department, paediatric wards and adult mental health services. You will need to work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the CAMHS service. You will undertake a range of therapeutic tasks with members of the multi-disciplinary CAMHS team which will include, assess any deliberate self-harm, provide training to A&E staff and the paediatric ward staff and triage young people who are in A&E where there are concerns about mental health.

This role is a Monday to Friday, shifts between 08:00-20:00, 37.5 hours a week.

The pay rate for this Band 6/7 CAMHS Crisis Specialist Practitioner role is £24.00 per hour (Umbrella), 3+ month contract due to start ASAP.

Requirements of this Band 6/7 CAMHS Crisis Specialist Practitioner vacancy:
* All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin.
* All applicants must have CAMHS experience.
* Must have a clear understand of Mental Health.
* Must have experience working within an ethnically community.
* Must have experience of using a range of therapeutic approaches.
