Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6/7 CAMHS Nurse  to fill a full time role in Barking. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of children’s mental health care practices. 
 
In this NHS role you will carry out initial assessment for young people and children, and carry out mental state examination during assessment. You will provide leadership, and promote initiative, creativity and motivation in CAMHS where appropriate. 

This is a full time role, and is a 3 month contract to start ASAP.  
 
The pay rate for this a Band 6/7 CAMHS Nurse is £24.00-£28.00 per hour  (Umbrella). 
 
Requirements of this a Band 6/7 CAMHS Nurse vacancy:
•    You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with valid NMC Pin
•    You must have CAMHS experience 
•    You must be confident handling your own caseload
