Job description

The Speech and language team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 6/7 SLT to work in Folkestone. The successful Speech and Language Therapist will be needed to provide assessment and therapy to children aged from birth to 19 years of age who have a variety of disabilities and conditions. Due to increase service demand and vacancy /maternity leave we have an opportunity for experienced paediatric Speech and Language Therapists to join the team on a temporary basis We are looking for staff who are experienced in assessment and therapy for early years or schools’ years for children with a range of speech and language needs. The candidate will need to work independently providing assessment, treatment advice and support to a designated caseload.

Banding: 6/7
Location: Folkestone
Hours: Full-Time
Duration: ASAP - 3 Months (with potential for an extension).
Essential skills 
  • Must be HCPC and RCSLT registered
  • SLT qualification
  • Previous paediatric experience  
  • Well established knowledge of a range of appropriate therapeutic interventions and competence to work independently with a well-developed level of clinical expertise relevant
