Maxxima's nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Safeguarding Practitioner to fill a full-time role in East London. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of safeguarding within the NHS.

In this NHS role, you will support the Safe Adults Lead in the development and implementation of the Trusts Safeguarding Adult Agenda by local, national guidance and legislation. You will need to provide specialist advice and guidance to ensure standards are met and will include advising staff on their statutory duties. You will develop and deliver training and create educated packages when necessary to meet current guidelines and policies.

This role is 37.5 hours a week.

The pay rate for this Band 7 Safeguarding Practitioner is £29.00 per hour (Umbrella). This will be a 5-month contract due to start ASAP.

Requirements of this Band 7 Safeguarding Practitioner vacancy:
All applicants must be a registered general nurse with valid NMC
You must have significant post qualification experience of working with adults at risk
You must have the ability to deal with high risk situations/decision making skills
You must have counselling skills
You must have formal specialist training in safeguarding adults and related short courses to masters level
You must have a teaching qualification ENB 730/998 or equivalent
You must have evidence of undertaking audits
