Clinical Psychologist / Neuropsychologist

Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s largest specialist provider of specialist neurological care and neuro rehabilitation. We are currently looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist / Neuropsychologist, who can provide overall support for the Care Home. This post is based in Milton keynes and Peterborough, which is easily accessible by public transport.

About the role:
As a Clinical Psychologist / Neuropsychologist, you will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team, providing neuropsychological assessments, formulation and interventions. Your day-to-day role will be focused on meeting face-to-face with residents, providing a range of treatments for mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, adjustment, insight and awareness work.
 
What we are looking for in a Clinical Psychologist / Neuropsychologist:

• Relevant Qualification in Psychology
• The legal right to work in the UK
• Experience of working with adults living with dementia or other neurological conditions is required
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and of carrying out assessments under the Mental Capacity Act
• HCPC or relevant governing body
