Maxxima’s permanent team are recruiting for a Diagnostic Radiographer (General and Breast Imaging) based in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s private leading comprehensive clinics in the heart of London.

As Diagnostic radiographer you will assist in the provision of a General X-ray, Mammography, Theatre and Fluoroscopic Imaging. Training in Interventional Radiology will also be provided, followed by participation in the on-call system and weekend duties.

Location: London

Employment Type: Permanent, Full time hours

Hrs: 37.5 hours a week Mon – Sun

On a typical day you will:

  • Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R 2017 regulations, assess clinical justification of referrals to ensure that the benefit to the patient outweighs the radiation risk associated with the examination
  • Be responsible for the safe use and maintenance of imaging equipment,
  • C0-ordinate and organise lists in Outpatient Imaging and Breast Imaging areas
  • Assisting and supporting with quality improvement projects, clinical audits and the coordination of mandatory training, with the support of more senior members of the team.
  • Attend Breast Imaging MDT
What will you need to succeed in this role?

  • BSc in Radiographer or equivalent
  • HCPC Registered
  • 12 months+ previous experience in all general, theatre and mobile imaging and fluoroscopy procedures
  • 12 months+ previous experience working in Breast Imaging department performing Mammograms and assisting with Biopsies
  • Familiar with PACS, RIS systems
  • Candidates requiring visa sponsorship will be consider for this role with the right skills & experience
