Job description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking a Band 6/7 Epilepsy Specialist Nurse to fill a full time role in Rotherham & Doncaster.

In this role there will be an element of remote working. In this role you will manage a caseload of complex patients with Epilepsy. You will be responsible for the assessment, care planning and support of patients on the caseload. Part of your role will be to prescribe and review medicines in conjunction with the clinical nurse specialists.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm starting ASAP for initially 4 months.

The pay rate for this Band 6/7 role is £23.82-£27.98 Umbrella PH.

Requirements of the Band 6/7 Epilepsy role:
  • You must be a registered general nurse with valid NMC pin
  • You must have physical health experience
  • You must have experience of working with patients with Epilepsy
  • You must have undertaken a specialist nursing diploma in Epilepsy or a related degree
