Job description

Maxxima are  looking for a Band 3 Therapy Assistant, the post holder will provide the Therapy team with clinical and non-clinical support, assisting in the provision of early assessment, therapeutic intervention and contributing towards patient flow within a supportive learning framework. The post holder will be under the supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist.

The job role is based within the Stoke team, providing therapy to the patients who have suffered a stroke or neurological injury. The post holder may at times be asked to assist other teams dependent on service need.

The job role is currently four days (actual days to be negotiated but will be Monday to Friday) (30 hours per week). The trust is working towards seven day working, therefore this may become a requirement of the job in the future based on service need.
