Job description

Maxxima has a new opportunity for a band 7 Adult Speech and Language Therapist to fulfil a full time role based at the Charing Cross Hospital, London. Part time options will be considered too.

The role is available to start ASAP for 3 months and the pay rate is between £27.00 and £31.00 an hour dependent on experience. 

The position will be split across two sites. 3 days in Charing Cross Neuro-rehabilitation Unit (CNRU) as the senior SLT on the unit. CNRU is a 15-bedded level 2 inpatient rehabilitation unit commissioned for patients from the boroughs of Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Kensington & Chelsea. The MDT is fully integrated, and is supported by a Clinical Lead Therapist, a consultant in neuro-rehabilitation, and includes rehab assistants and psychologists.

The other 2 days will be on the adult acute wards, across medical and surgical specialisms. 

Please note there is flexibility with the days.

The successful candidate will be required to have neuro rehab experience and dysphagia.
