Maxxima's Social Work team are currently recruiting for Children's Social Workers to fill job roles in Camden

The roles will be based within Children and Families Services who are looking for Qualified Social Workers to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The pay rate for these roles is up to £28 per hour, and the roles will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

Requirements and details of these QSW vacancies:

We are looking for Social Workers who have post qualified experience working within statutory services.

An experienced social worker is required to provide a social work service to children and families arising out of the Council's duties and powers under legislation and regulations, Council and Departmental policies and procedures. To hold a caseload, including cases in court proceedings, and undertake a range of duties and responsibilities on behalf of the Department specified in the Children's Act 2004, Every Child Matters and such other legislation as is or may be appropriate to work with children and their families. Undertake assessments of children looked after by Camden to inform the development of appropriate care/protection plans to ensure statutory duties are met and these support the achievement of quality standards and practice development. The role involves regular direct work, joint working, home visits and reflective sessions with clients, colleagues and partners. Candidates must have substantial experience as a social worker and be able to manage complex cases.
