Maxxima's Social Work team are currently recruiting for Children's Social Workers to fill job roles in Cardiff

The roles will be based within Children and Families Services who are looking for Qualified Social Workers to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The pay rate for these roles is up to £32 per hour, and the roles will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

You will need to be an experienced Social Worker with substantial post qualified expertise

An exciting opportunity for a Social Worker within the Child Health & Disability Team has become available in Cardiff. You will need: * A Degree or equivalent in Social Work * Experience of working within a Child Health & Disability Team * Experience of working within the area of transition is desirable The main duties of the post holder will be: * To work alongside a multi-agency team of professionals, in partnership with families. * To use the Signs of Safety approach to social work practice. * To case manage a range of cases and work positively with young people who have health and disability related needs to assess and plan for transition to young adulthood. * To work in a multiagency capacity to support children and families. * To undertake Wellbeing Assessments and Care Plans under both Part 4 and Part 6 of the Social Services & Wellbeing Act. * To undertake Transition reports. * Attend LAC Review Meetings. * Carry out Child Protection investigations and attend relevant meeting with partner agencies. * Provide support and work closely with Transition Social Work Assistants within the team.
