Maxxima have recently partnered with a leading healthcare provider. We are currently looking for an experienced Associate Chief Pharmacist who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership for the service. This post is based in Lincolnshire.

About the role:
As an Associate Chief Pharmacist, you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered, and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service whilst seamlessly incorporating other centre services.

Your main responsibilities as an Associate Chief Pharmacist:
  • Lead, manage and develop the clinical and patient focused Pharmacy services to ensure that patients receive safe, high quality and clinically effective pharmaceutical care
  • Support the Trust Chief Pharmacist in developing clinical pharmacy services provision in a manner that reflects Trust, local and National Health Service strategy and priorities
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical governance, controls assurance and performance measures within Pharmacy
What we are looking for in an Associate Chief Pharmacist:
  • Diploma/MSc in Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent) experience
  • Previous Hospital Pharmacy experience
  • Change, Staff, Appraisal and performance management experience
