The Occupational Therapy team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in Doncaster. If successful, you will be working seven days a week, 8am to 8pm. Previous working experience in NHS is essential for this role.

Payrate: £24-27 per hour
Location: Doncaster
Hours: Seven days a week, 8am to 8pm
Duration: 3 months contract
 
Essential skills:

• HCPC registered
• Required to work at any location at any time throughout the duration of their contract within the RDaSH footprint, or set out under terms of their contract.
• Travel outside the RDaSH footprint may also be required.
• To develop and deliver specialist Occupational Therapy for people with long term conditions and palliative care needs within the community and hospice.
• To work within the Doncaster Community Therapy Service to deliver the Home First model to people in the Doncaster area, to prevent hospital admissions and accelerate hospital discharges. 
• To assess individual patient’s needs, set and implement treatment plans and long term condition management for patients linking with primary, secondary and tertiary care, using a coordinated approach.
• To contribute to the development of the Occupational Therapy role within the Occupational Therapy Service by working across boundaries and interagency working.
• Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy
