Maxxima have recently partnered with  one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Lincoln, which is easily accessible via public transport.
 
About the role:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service.

Your main responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist:
  • Responsible for own clinical caseload and the clinical supervision of more junior and student physiotherapist caseload 
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality and range of learning and development opportunities for all Occupational Therapy staff to ensure safe and effective patient care and practice
  • Support and facilitates the development of clinical practice through ensuring appropriate support mechanisms such as supervision, appraisal, and direct observations of practice, pathway development and reviews
  • Develop strategies which enhance staff recruitment, staff engagement and career development
  • Work with overseas Occupational Therapists assisting Team Leads in the transition into ULHT and differing clinical practice in the UK
What we are looking for in an Occupational Therapist:
  • HCPC Registration
  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Significant experience at Band 6 level in the speciality area of Therapies and Rehabilitation Medicine
  • Experience of supervision of students and other staff
