Job description

Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Carehome Manager in Learning Disabilities & Autism, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Sunbury on Thames, which is easily accessible via public transport.
 
About the role:
As a Carehome Manager, you will have overall leadership and management of the service, developing close working relationships with the experienced and established teams inlcuding other external stakeholders. You will also be responsible for the delivery of excellent care and operational performance, whilst continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers.

Your main responsibilities as a Carehome Manager:
  • Adhere to the CQC standards and regulations
  • Ensure both quality and financial targets are met, and facilitating the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of clients, and also reflect market trends and evidence-based practice
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the care home, ensuring adherence to Elysium’s objectives and business plan
  • Promote and enhance the Care Home's reputation for high-quality outcomes for clients
  • Understand and respond to the specific needs of individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorder
  • Participate in contract reviews and represent the organisation in respect of service delivery
  • Lead the supervision and annual review process within Elysium Care Partnerships for your team
What we are looking for in a Carehome Manager:
  • Experience with Challenging Behaviour and Positive Behaviour Support 
  • An excellent track record in a management role within the social or healthcare sector
  • Strong commercial acumen, to support successful service delivery and development, people management, budget control, business development, and revenue generation
  • An inclusive and supportive management style balanced with strong leadership is a critical factor in the success of this role, to provide direction and implement change 
  • Experience in working with external agencies such as CQC, Safeguarding, CCGs etc.
  • A commitment to a person-centred approach to deliver high-quality services to enable people to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives
