Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Community Pharmacist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Berkhamsted, which is easily accessible via public transport.
 
About the role:
As a Community Pharmacist, you will work in a true community pharmacy, using your skills and knowledge to improve the quality of services to patients within the local community.

Your main responsibilities as a Community Pharmacist:
  • Conduct thorough medication reviews for patients, ensuring appropriate drug selection, and dosing
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
  • Identify potential interactions between drugs and providing information to the patient
  • Order stock and ensure that it is kept in appropriate conditions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all medication processed through the pharmacy
  • Provide information to patients regarding their medications, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions
  • Ensure adherence to medication safety policies and procedures, including medication reconciliation, identification, and prevention of medication errors
  • Assist the pharmaceutical staff to maintain a clean, customer-friendly workplace
What we are looking for in a Community Pharmacist:
  • GPHC Registration
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • A valid UK driving license
  • Excellent communication skills / a passion to deliver advanced services
  • Strong customer service skills
