Maxxima’s permanent team are recruiting for a Specialist Dysphagia Speech & Language Therapist on a permanent basis to work for the UK's largest hospital group.

Location: Surrey

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time hours 37.5 (shift based)

On a typical day you will:

The Dysphagia Specialist Speech and Language Therapist is responsible for assessment, intervention, and consultation for a specialist caseload - to facilitate development of students’ communication and eating and drinking with a focus on safety and skills development. The post holder will also assist the Lead Speech & Language Therapist with team leadership responsibilities.

What will you need to succeed in this role?
 

• Certificate to practise from RCSLT
• Registered member of RCSLT and HCPC.
• Significant clinical experience in a range of settings.
• Experience in paediatrics, learning disability or acquired disorders
• PC literate
• Experience in supervising other staff.
• Evidence of higher study.
• Signing qualification (e.g., Singalong, Makaton, BSL).
• Dysphagia qualification.
