Emergency Nurse/A&E with NHS experience - Home working - PERMANENT - West Sussex
Maxxima’s permanent team are recruiting for a NMC registered nurses with 5 years NHS A&E emergency nurse experience to work as Nurse co-ordinator for a home working role working for a global provider of integrated medical and security assistance, claims handling & travel risk management.
Our client is looking for NMC registered nurse's looking for something completely unique in a non-hospital setting where no two days are the same. The variety of work is vast and extremely rewarding ranging from a patient with a myocardial infarction in China to paediatric polytrauma skiing accident in France.
Full training will be provided on appointment of this position.
Location: HOME working after you have completed your training in the West Sussex office (you must live 1.5 hours from West Sussex)
Employment Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week including weekends & night shifts
Full-time & Part-time hours are available

What’s in it for you?

On a typical day you will:
- Liaise with patients, hospitals, and medical staff to ensure the correct and appropriate treatment is being given
- Be responsible for assessing when and how the patients are fit to return home.
- Use your experience working within an A&E/Emergency nurse/ICU/Cardiac setting, along with a broad knowledge base to correctly and efficiently manage the patient based on their symptoms and ensure the correct treatment is provided
- NMC Registered Nurse (Emergency Nurse)
- Minimum 5 years' experience post-registration, to include - acute setting - A&E & ideally other (ICU)
- Broad medical knowledge
- Team player - flexible attitude towards working with others
- Enthusiasm, motivation, and an ability to make decisions
- A good level of computer literacy
- Great verbal and written communication skills
