Head of Operations- Permanent – Glasgow

Maxxima’s permanent team are recruiting for a Head of Operations on a permanent basis to work for the UK's largest hospital group.

Location: Edinburgh

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time hours 37.5 (shift based)

On a typical day you will:

To provide strategic, service, and operational management of the Scottish Hubs. This includes the achievement of all operational performance targets including quality, safety, access, activity, finance, targets and staff performance and governance standards, and the development of appropriate strategies for these services, ensuring the quality of services to patients and improving services towards best practice standards.
The post holder reports to the Director of Operations and will be accountable for the overall operational management of all patient services within the scope of the role and will be expected to make a positive contribution to the design and delivery of the services within their region. To be responsible for the management of the Hub as defined in the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010 and RQIA (Registration) Regulations.


What will you need to succeed in this role?
 

• Current healthcare professional registration (RMN, OT, Psychology or Social Work)
• Significant understanding of, and experience in the field of mental health
• Robust understanding of Care Inspectorate scrutiny framework
• In-depth professional knowledge in several disciplines; financial management, performance management & staff management
• Evidence of up-to-date personal and professional development
