Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Health Care Support Worker, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in West Yorkshire, which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:
As a Health Care Support Worker, you will ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. 

Your main responsibilities as a Health Care Support Worker:

• To work independently in the community setting providing the appropriate level of nursing care for each individual client on each visit within set parameters of their nursing care plan using own clinical judgement and risk assessments within competencies
• Continually monitor the changes in clients and report relevant information to nursing colleagues
• Undertaking administrative and clerical tasks, including secretarial duties in the absence of administrative staff and monitoring stock levels

What we are looking for in a Health Care Support Worker:

• A completed the Care Certificate
• Experience in venepuncture
• Experience in a caring role or as a health care assistant in health or social care.
• Evidence of team working
• Proven ability to work unsupervised
• Experience of administration support
