Job description

Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Paediatric Occupational Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in London, which is easily accessible via public transport.
 
About the role:
As a Lead Paediatric Occupational Therapist , you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service.

Your main responsibilities as a Lead Paediatric Occupational Therapist:
  • Ensure a high quality of care is provided by the OT team
  • Lead on service development and improvement of projects
  • Provide clinical and professional supervision to patients
What we are looking for in a Lead Paediatric Occupational Therapist:
  • BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
  • Current registered member of Health and Care Professions Council
  • Further postgraduate training in Paediatrics
  • Extensive Paediatric occupational Therapy clinical experience (preferably Early Intervention or Neuro-disability)
  • Advanced knowledge and application of paediatric OT assessments and interventions relevant to a paediatric client group
  • Leadership and management experience
