Lead Scrub Theatre Practitioner- Permanent – London

Maxxima’s permanent team are recruiting for a Lead Scrub Theatre Practitioner on a permanent basis to work for the UK's largest hospital group.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time hours 37.5 (shift based)

On a typical day you will:
 

• To ensure that professional and national standards are met in accordance with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Health Professions Council (HPC)
• To provide clinical leadership and support colleagues to plan, monitor and evaluate skilled and appropriate care for patients undergoing different forms of surgery to ensure the provision of evidence-based care.
• The post holder must act as a role model in providing specialist knowledge within Urology.
• To work as part of a team supporting and developing colleagues by mentoring and assessing their skills.

What will you need to succeed in this role?
 

• Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified
• Current HCPC/NMC Registration
• Extensive experience with Urology 5+ years
• Experience in use of the Davinci Xi is desirable.
