Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Molecular Imaging (PET/CT) Radiographer who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in West London, which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:
As a Molecular Imaging (PET/CT) Radiographer, you will be working in Molecular Imaging Department incorporates all aspects of oncological and non-oncological radioisotope imaging as well as radioisotope therapy.

Your main responsibilities as a Molecular Imaging (PET/CT) Radiographer:
  • To skilful perform a wide range of NM and PET/CT procedures to a high standard
  • To act as an Operator under IR(ME)R17
  • To rotate between THSC & LOC Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT departments as required
  • To prioritise patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality
  • To comply with legislative and hospital policies & procedures to ensure patient safety, in particular Radiation Protection and Infection Control
  • To support departmental audits in accordance with clinical governance policies
  • To ensure that quality assurance of equipment is carried out in line with departmental policy, recording and report faults in a timely manner and where appropriate implement corrective action
  • To be able to work unsupervised, seeking advice from the superintendent or medical staff when required.
  • To maintain a high standard of patient care through good clinical practice.
What we are looking for in a Molecular Imaging (PET/CT) Radiographer:
  • BSc or equivalent qualification in Clinical Technology, specialising in Nuclear Medicine or BSc Radiography with postgraduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine
  • Valid HCPC or RCT registration
  • Post qualification work experience in Nuclear Medicine and PETCT
  • Previous CT experience is required for Radiographers
