The Occupational Therapy team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in Portsmouth. The successful Occupational Therapist will be working Monday to Friday 9-5. This role is available to start ASAP; the starting pay rate for this job is £25 per hour.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5
Duration: Ongoing

Essential skills:
• HCPC Registered
• Occupational Therapy experience
• Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapist
• Experince in (medical, surgical, orthopaedics, neuro) 
• To assess and treat own caseload of patients within the defined clinical area and maintains associated records
• To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner within your area of specialty
• Facilitates and supports the discharge planning process
• Supervises less experienced physiotherapists, therapy assistants / technicians and students.
• To work flexibly across specialties when requested, and if competency allows
