Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist , who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Chafford Hundred, which is easily accessible via public transport.
 
About the role:
As a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist, you will be working alongside our Clinical Manager and a band 5 therapist covering 2 Multi Academy Trusts. 

Your main responsibilities as a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist:

• Carry out formal and informal assessment of students and making diagnostic decisions
• Set and evaluate aims and objectives regarding speech, language and communication
• Carry out direct and indirect therapy interventions
• Work with others, including families, teaching staff and other professionals
• Contribute to training and prioritise/ manage caseload
• Maintain best practice clinical standards as per RCSLT CQ live guidelines
• Maintain a working knowledge of local policies and procedures and legal frameworks
• Carry out required administrative duties
• Work independently and accessing support as needed
• Contributing to development of the practice
• Participate in service research and audit
• Contribute to supervision of assistants, students and volunteers
• Take independent responsibility for continuing professional development and maintaining up to date HCPC registration
