Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Scientist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Lincoln, which is easily accessible via public transport.
 
About the role:
As a Scientist, you will assist the Senior Aseptic Services Technicians in the effective and safe operational running of the Pharmacy Aseptic Service.

Your main responsibilities as a Scientist:

• Provide supervision of the day to day workload and training of staff
• Ensure staff are undertaking activities following department standard operating procedures work in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) 
• Dispense and check all pre-prepared aseptic products, oral chemotherapy, and support medication including completing associated paperwork

What we are looking for in a Scientist:

• BTEC - Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent
• Eligible for registration with GPhC or relevant membership body
• Certificate in checking competency verified bi-annually
• Eligible and willing to undertake Pre and Inprocess checking accreditation with completion within 12 months
