Maxxima have recently partnered with  one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician in Homecare & Medicines Management, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Lincoln, which is easily accessible via public transport.
 
About the role:
As a Pharmacy Technician in Homecare & Medicines Management, you will provide dispensary and ward based medicines management services within the hospital.

Your main responsibilities as a Pharmacy Technician:
  • To lead, manage and develop the pharmacy operational technical service related to medicines homecare in line with national guidelines and local policy and procedures
  • To provide specialist technical support to the Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmacy Procurement Team in the matter of homecare medicines
  • To ensure medicines homecare services for patients are of a consistently high quality by working alongside and liaising with homecare companies, hospital nursing, medical and pharmacy staff and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry
What we are looking for in a Pharmacy Technician :
  • Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Knowledge of medicines legislation
