Senior 1 Cardiac Radiographer – Permanent – West London
 
Maxxima’s permanent team are recruiting for Senior 1 Cardiac Radiographer on a permanent basis to work for the UK's largest hospital group in the heart of London.
 
As Senior 1 Cardiac Radiographer, you will work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the cardiac catheter laboratories and to maintain professional standards of technical competence and high standards of patient care at all times.
 
Location: West London

Employment Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week There is a on-call requirement currently 1 in every 3 weeks)
Working days: will consider applications to work 3 to 4 long days

What’s in it for you?
Salary: £42’000-£49’000 + Great Benefits               

On a typical day you will:
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of patient care utilising evidence-based practice
  • Ensure the protection and safety of all staff and patients against the dangers of ionising radiation and to comply with ionising Radiation Regulations, Health and Safety at Work Act, Manual Handling and COSHH Regulations
  • Participate in the department’s out-of-hours on-call rota
  • Promote and act as ambassador for the cardiac service
  • To play an active role in all cardiac procedures and to confidently assist clinical decision making on which the patient’s management may be based
  • Observe the company’s employment policies and procedure
  • Provide high quality patient centred care
  • Maintain patients records accurately, both written and electronically stored, in accordance with HPC guidelines and hospital policy
  • Assist with stock control and ensure that all examination charges are capture
What will you need to succeed in this role?
  • HCPC registered 
  • Degree within Radiography 
  • Interventional Neurology experience is advantageous, however, not essential as training will be provided
  • Able to use VDU
  • NHS/UK Experience is essential
