Maxxima have recently partnered with a leading healthcare provider. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Recovery/CCU Nurse who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership for the service. This post is based in Central London, which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:
As a Senior Recovery/CCU Nurse, you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered, and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service whilst seamlessly incorporating other centre services.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Recovery/CCU Nurse:
  • Registered Nurse
  • Advanced Life Support Certificate 
  • Relevant ITU certification 
  • Recognised post graduate Critical Care qualification (With ALS Accreditation)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Critical Care environment
What we are looking for in a Senior Recovery/CCU Nurse:
  • Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluation of a high level of critical care for patients
  • Delivery of a high level of post anaesthetic care for patients within the Theatre Recovery Room
  • Working with the Anaesthetic team to deliver high quality, safe patient care
  • Delivering an Outreach service to the ward, offering support and guidance in the care of the acutely unwell patient
